Trust & Security
OpenDecision is only useful if its numbers are right. This page says where they come from, what we check, and what we do not claim.
- Products tracked
- 132
- Prices carrying the vendor page and date they were read from
- 764 / 766
- Vendor sites cited directly
- 121
- Included allowances recorded from source
- 770
Where pricing comes from
Every price is read from the vendor’s own page and stored with the URL it was read from and the date it was read. Nothing is typed in from memory, and nothing is estimated. Where a price appears on a public page, we record that page; where a vendor genuinely does not publish one, we say so rather than guessing.
Prices are captured for all 132 products, and the source and capture date travel with the number wherever it is shown. If a figure looks wrong, the page it came from is one click away, which is the point.
What we do not do
- No sponsored placements. No vendor can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to be excluded.
- No invented data. A missing value renders as missing. We do not fill a gap with a plausible-looking number to make a page or a chart look complete.
- No affiliate-driven ordering. Results are ordered by how well a product matches the requirements you set.
What we do not have yet
Being straight about the gaps is part of the same contract. The catalog does not currently hold verified feature-by-feature specification scores, and it does not hold user reviews or ratings. Where you see pricing, plans and included allowances, that is measured. Where you would expect a feature matrix, we have not published one, because we would have to invent it.
Your data
You can use OpenDecision without an account. Starting a decision space does not require signing up, and nothing you type is sold or shared with the vendors you are comparing.
Full detail is in the privacy policy and the terms of service.
Found something wrong?
Pricing changes, and vendors restructure their pages. If a number here disagrees with what a vendor currently publishes, tell us and we will re-capture it.
