A verified catalog is not a decision. It is the thing that makes a decision checkable. Juukbox is where someone states what they actually need, sees which products meet it, and leaves with something they can put in front of the people who have to approve it.
Where does it apply, and where does it not?
Juukbox covers project and portfolio management software and nothing else. If you are choosing a CRM, a payroll system or a data warehouse, we do not have the data and you should use something else. We would rather lose you here than have you discover it after stating your requirements.
What does it do that a spreadsheet does not?
Anyone can build a comparison table. The work is not the table, it is keeping it honest: finding the real price behind the toggle, noticing the add-on that doubles it at fifteen seats, and knowing when a figure was last true. That is what the catalog carries and what a hand-built spreadsheet quietly loses within a month.
So a decision in Juukbox is not a list of opinions. Every amount it shows you traces to the vendor page it came from and the day it was read, and it says which products are due to be read again. When someone asks where a number came from, there is an answer.
